During Doctorinternet staff visit to Iraq in December 03/January04
(15th December 03- 12th January 04) , they approach health authorities and
were privileged to work as partners for a health project in Iraq.
They met the Health Minister, universities presidents , and other officials who
adopted the new program for the Continuous Medical Education (CME) to Health Professionals in Iraq. This
was a great achievement to Iraqi doctors, especially
the funding of the program will be from international organisations and private sources and not
from the Iraq budget. Doctorinternet received the backing and support from the UN_ ESCWA foundation, task force
for Iraq, and approved the CME program as submitted. ESCWA forwarded the program
to the donor community for funding purposes.
